Dr. Ziya Karichev, D. Eng. (1995), is an experienced project manager and scientist. Prior to IPT Dr. Karichev was the Head of R&D at Russia's premier fuel cell research center RPE "KVANT". He is a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Science and a laureate of the Russian Federation Government Award in Technology and Science in the field of fuel cell technology (1998). His work is represented in over 100 publications, 3 monographs and 70 patents.
