MAGNUM handles modelling and simulation tasks for electronics development in automobile and medical technology, and designs and implements model-based diagnostic procedures. Test facilities for production or testing are automated with a modular software (MILAN®) for long-term testing of equipment and materials, e.g. in fuel cell test beds with automated testing.

News at HANNOVER MESSE 2007:
With immediate effect MAGNUM fuel cell test benches are available as comprehensive solution with integrated impedance spectrometer. Special characteristic of the new MILAN® F-Cell series is apart from automatic test sequence control, manual operation and HIL integration, the possibility of generating impedance spectra or recording of complex load cycles.
MAGNUM succeeded in generating as a compact system a self-contained power supply meeting high safety standards. An integrated cooling circle feeds a radiator warming such the environment. This system demonstrates a decentralised energy supply for electricity and warmth. An important step proving fuel cell technology serviceable.
