Company Information
Company's Interests :
The Zentrum für Sonnenenergie- und Wasserstoff-Forschung
Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) (centre for solar
energy and hydrogen research) is a not for profit
organisation active in research and development
of photovoltaics, regenerative fuels, system analysis,
electrochemical energy storage and energy conversion.
In 2003 ZSW had approximately 130 employees and
an annual turnover of appr. 13,5 million Euro.
Results of basic research of our own and other
laboratories getting transferred with the industry
into innovative applications. The increasing part
of industry contracts shows the successful transfer
of scientific knowledge in real work products
by the ZSW.
Achievements in 2003:
The ZSW develops PEM-fuel cells and systems in
the range of 1W up to 15kW. In 2003 we forced
our works in the design and production technologies
of our PEM fuel cell components and the development
of a 300 Watt fuel cell hybrid system. Because
of working with different industrial partners,
we are able to offer complete PEM- and DMFC-stacks
and systems.
News at HANNOVER FAIR 2004:
On the Hannover Fair 2004 we show new designs
of our PEM-fuel cells, DMFC s and the 300 Watt
auxiliary power unit Power Bag 300 h . Even the
formation of spin offs near the ZSW in Ulm with
the WBzU (Weiterbildungszentrum Brennstoffzelle
Ulm, fuel cell education and training center)
and the UBzM (Ulmer Brennstoffzellen-Manufaktur,
Ulmer fuel cell manufactory) is a fokus of our
presentation on the Hannover Fair.
